'I took potpourri for $100, and then my head started to spin'

by Smitty (h/t No Quarter)

Great post at No Quarter, covering not only Wolf Blitzer's self-immolation on Jeopardy, but also a Craig Ferguson appearance, where he threatens to do a little dance.

However, there is a great clip that has gone completely untapped amidst all the Wolf guffaws, and this blog feels a natural requirement to dredge up Weird Al:

  1. Sweet. One of Weird Al's forgotten greats, like "O R E O", and "Amish Paradise."

    And oh so appropriate.

  2. Don't forget "All About The Pentiums!"

  3. Hey, I lost on Jeopardy! too, back in 1995. But I actually ran a whole category and ended up with $4800 before Final.

And mind you, that wasn't the sissy Celebrity Jeopardy version, that was the real thing.

And actually? It was a gas.

  4. The cherry on top is the appearance by Greg Kihn at the end, whose "Our Love's in Jeopardy" was the inspiration for the spoof.

I tried out for Jeopardy and did pretty well but was never invited on the show.
