Professor Jacobson knows a lot about Nancy Pelosi and her transparent bogusness. But rock 'n' roll? Not so much.
Dude, if you're going to cite a Yes song, don't cite "Seen All Good People." That lame song just makes me want to turn my head and walk away. Dude, it's got to be "Roundabout." BTW, it's still "free Troglo-lanche Week," just in case any bloggers want to get linked some more.

You were probably the guy in the back at the Sknyrd concert yelling, "Free Bird"!
ReplyDeleteYou need another rule--if you're going to blog rock viddies they've got to be extended concert versions or seldom heard goodies that will enlighten.
Yes "Roundabout" is so cliche!
Thanks for the video.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Yes was an all lesbian band.
I saw Yes once, at The Forum in L.A., in 1972. "Roundabout" was my favorite song then. They were unreal live. But the only Yes song on my iPod now is "Love Will Find
ReplyDeleteA Way." I can't listen to them now, except for that. I don't think Jon Anderson's voice and my ears go well together anymore; it hurts to hear them.
"I don't think Jon Anderson's voice and my ears go well together anymore; it hurts to hear them."The estimable James Lileks said of Anderson in 2002:
ReplyDelete"To those unfamiliar with Yes' singer, imagine a hamster that has been dipped in helium and squeezed between the thighs of a pro wrestler."
Says it all, I think.
Dude, if you are gonna pick rockin' Yes tracks, you should try "South Side of the Sky" or better yet "Heart of the Sunrise."
