School field trips, 2008

More important than ABCs:
Eighteen first graders traveled to San Francisco City Hall Friday for the wedding of their teacher and her lesbian partner, The San Francisco Chronicle reported. The school sponsored the trip for the students, ages 5 and 6, taking them away from their studies for the same-sex wedding.
As Michelle Malkin says, "reason number 9,999,987 to homeschool." We didn't wait for the list to get that long. We started homeschooling in 1997 because our daughter was falling behind in math. As I'm sitting here typing this, our daughter -- now 19 and a college sophomore majoring in education -- is reading Mrs. Piggle Wiggle to three of her younger siblings.

  1. When Malkin's sex-change operation is complete, and she can think about having kids, then and only then should she talk.
As for the irrational fear of same sex marriage, I will never understand it. i'm glad those kids got a chance to see their teacher marry.tolerance begins at an early age, and looking at those klan rallies disguised as Palin rallies, it's easy to see that the Right hasn't had any education in tolerance. provincialism at it's worst....

  2. Nice comment about Michelle... how would your transgendered fans/friends feel if they saw you using that unfounded claim as a slam against Ms. Malkin? It's cynical and sexist at best and hypocritical at worst.
As to your irrational fear of parental autonomy. . .to tolerate, if I recall is(or it seems, was) defined "to bear and put up with". Nothing about taking your kids to see you married WITHOUT PARENTAL PERMISSION.
And about tolerance,as someone who has been literally backed into a wall by an Obama supporter for the sin of being black and supporting McCain - - I don't want to hear it.

For the left, Tolerance has two faces.
