Ben Stein says we've figured him out

by Smitty (h/t Rhetorican )

Now, the American people are starting to wake up to the truth. Barack Obama is a super likeable super leftist, not a fan of this country, way, way too cozy with the terrorist leaders in the Middle East, way beyond naïveté, all the way into active destruction of our interests and our allies and our future.
The American people have already awakened to the truth that the stimulus bill -- a great idea in theory -- was really an immense bribe to Democrat interest groups, and in no way an effort to help all Americans.

I want to agree with Stein, but it's probably too hyperbolic a formulation. You can't prove that we would not have been worse off without the stimulus.

Too, Stein nowhere grasps the Federalist point: that power is Checkov's Gun. The only means of precluding abuse is a priori removal.

This is why I hope Sarah Palin, should she pursue the opportunity to change the national diaper after this administration, stands overtly against all this Progressive crap that has led up to this debacle.

"I will take the battle nationally, and I won't shy away from challenging the powerful, the entrenched, the corrupt and anyone standing in the way of getting our country back on the right track."

I think she might fulfill our wishes, RSM.

  2. A scenario is running through my intel-feed evaluators:

Left deserts him as not able to get the job done for which they hired him -- nation destruction, Afro-Mohammedan supremacy -- and felt assured he had power to accomplish. Deep disconsolation, rejection of the hired tool, search commenced for another. Refuse to accept that the job cannot get done by anyone mortal and that no one divine is interested in doing it.

Congress sees that plus that his/left's ultimate goal, in pursuance of Afro-Mohammedan supremacy, is to shutter Congress and SCOTUS as co-equal branches of government.

Congressional Democrats lead impeachment and conviction of White House resident.

Possibly first such resident impeached/convicted by own [nominal] party. History on that not known well enough, by me, to say for sure.

  3. Have you seen the photo of Palin with Levin's book?

    That speaks volumes.

  4. Robert, Sarah Palin's resignation speech today confirms that she is ready to take on Obama, the media, and Hollywood lefties. The lefties in Alaska (and by extension the Obama admin.) overreached in their attempts to intimidate her, and forced the genie out of the bottle. I expect that in a few short months they will regret this. It will be fun to sit back and enjoy Sarah-style shock and awe.
