ReplyDeleteYeah. You just know that no Kennedys, Rockefellers or (insert rich limousine liberal family name here) are going to be inconvenienced by this in the least...because they can afford lawyers and CPAs to help them weasel out of paying.

I used to do estate & tax planning, and you're right: for those with a lot of money, the estate tax is an optional payment. It's small businesses & farms that get hit hardest, despite the attempts to create "programs" which "allow" the owner to pass on their assets to the people they love.
