I think that Barney Frank is as credible on ACORN as Nancy Pelosi is on waterboarding.
Lou Dobbs is the most credible voice in the dialogue. Michelle Bachman comes in second, and Frank could be replaced with a chamber pot.
Yes, money was given to ACORN during the Bush administration. Of what possible use is the repetitious charge that Bush gave ACORN money? Are we supposed to pretend that Congress had no oversight, and didn't know, dime for dime, what went where? Way to avoid an intelligent look at the present, where ACORN actively undermines confidence in the electoral system, Frank.
How the country will rejoice when people like Frank are no longer in office. The day cannot come soon enough.

Frank is proof that Cheney had no hit squad.
ReplyDeleteI was under the impression that Congress, not the administration, provides the budget. You know, 'all spending bills must begin in the house', or something like that.

The most telling sentence in this entire video is Frank: "I'd love to expand the role of government"
ReplyDeleteBecause obviously, if Republicans directed a few million dollars specifically to the housing wing of ACORN, then after it was shown that they illegally shifted these funds around to their partisan operations and racked up a string of voter fraud indictments and CONVICTIONS, it makes perfect sense for Democrats to THEN give them billions.
By this logic, because some people gave money to Bernie Madoff thinking it a legal investment, we should give him 1000 times as much money to use specifically for illegal ponzi schemes.
Brilliant Barney!
