Sarah Palin: Good on TV

She's obviously a natural. Charlie Gibson's trying to make her look stupid, but doesn't succeed.

Via Hot Air, where Allah says Palin "can’t answer the Pakistan question in anything but platitudes about stopping Islamic extremism." Yes, but at least she said Islamic extremism -- she named the enemy, rather than giving the impression that we're under siege by radical Methodists or something.

Here's the full transcript, and it's clear that Gibson's all about the "gotcha," which will make liberals happy. But you know what? It doesn't matter. American like Palin, and if they get the idea she's being attacked, they'll rally to her side. At some point, the MSM and Democrats will figure this out. Maybe after she's been vice president a couple of years.

UPDATE: Politico says Palin "appears to have held her own" with Gibson. True, but it misses the point: She's very good on TV. She looks good and speaks well, and appears very sincere. She doesn't come across as "just another politician." The more time that Sarah Palin is talking on TV, the better for the GOP. Just put her on and let her talk. Let the reporters play "gotcha" as much as they want, and it doesn't matter. When Americans like somebody the way they like Palin, it's magic that way.

  1. Oh brother!
Haven't we just lost all self-respect and perspective( and by "we" I mean you).
Bunko artists are nothing if not shameless. So when you say Americans love Palin I wonder if you mean only the Americans that count( Conservatives) or most Americans? Has to be the former because there is a considerably large swath of Americans who do not like Palin for a variety of reasons. And now there is more food for thought by way of the revealing tidbits from the Gibson interview.
Maybe it was God's work that she came off like a Neo-Con automaton? She's as inauthentic as she is cute but alas this is not a beauty pageant. Hey, do you think AMERICA is buying into the idea that she was referencing Lincoln? As if she had the capacity!
Maybe she was referencing Lincoln when she asked for the church members to pray for the gas pipeline? That was from Exxon-Mobil Address of 1864,wasn't it? She's a fraud. When you guys get over yourselves, you'll begin to see it too.

  2. BARACK OBAMA: "In a conference call with reporters, Obama said Clinton would continue the "Bush doctrine" of only speaking to leaders of rogue nations if they first meet conditions laid out by the United States."

Looks like Barack doesn't know what the Bush Doctrine is either!

  3. How did she not come off like a politician? She avoided any direct answer, changed the subject to energy when asked about foreign policy experience, and acted just like most politicians act. The problem is that i think she is not as educated as most politicians, so while she gave political answers, she came off looking stupid. she is ignorant, unqualified, and very fake.
