Oh, boy! 'Fistgate' on Fox!

Sean Hannity just announced that Michelle Malkin's going to be on after the commercial to talk about every middle-schooler's favorite subject!

Don't try this at home, kids!

UPDATE: The Boss gives big props to Gateway Pundit! Attagirl, Michelle!

UPDATE II: Michelle and Hannity made a point about the kind of sexually explicit stuff that is being pushed on kids in the name of "tolerance" -- you can't quote most of it on TV, or in a mainstream newspaper. And the advocates of "tolerance" know this.

If the average taxpayer or the average parent were to see the worst of this stuff, there would be a riot.. And if they understood the psychological influence of "comprehensive sexuality education" -- or saw what goes on in the classrooms where kids are taught this stuff -- they'd be urging that the instigators of such programs be fired. Ten years ago, I interviewed Wendy Shalit:
Her conflict with a sexually explicit culture actually began years earlier when, as a fourth-grader, her complaints about a sex-education class led her parents to request that she be excused from the classes. She spent those hours in the library.
"I was glad to be in the library, because the other girls got teased, and I would just pretend like I didn't know what they were talking about," she recalls. "And in a lot of cases, I didn't, and I was glad not to, frankly."
Sex education in public schools should be "completely abolished," Miss Shalit says. “At best, it's redundant, because kids do not learn the facts from sex education. They know it already."
But Miss Shalit also says sex education hurts girls -- "and boys, too" -- by eroding natural modesty. "The problem is that we have it so early now, we really don't allow people to develop their personalities before their sexual identity," she says.
Wendy's book is A Return to Modesty.

'They have a Nazi collaborator -- literally'

So said Chairman Ann, in reference to left-wing Sugar Daddy George Soros, during an interview with Glenn Beck, when the subject was Rush Limbaugh's CPAC speech:

"Right-wing and conservative power has always bubbled up from the bottom. . . . It's always been bottom-up. Not with the Democrats. Oh, no. They have a Nazi collaborator -- literally -- international financier George Soros funding their phony 'grassroots' organizations."
-- Ann Coulter, March 2, 2009
This video was turned up by Myers The Blog Intern, while he was researching a post about "Death Panels," Pelosi's "swastikas," Limbaugh, Robert Gibbs, et cetera. Myers also just dug up this quote from Chairman Ann's interview last month with Sean Hannity:
"You can see [President Obama is] becoming unhinged because the media has totally, totally built this guy up . . . He swats a fly, and they're all, you know, hyperventilating. Now, meanwhile, look how he acted to his critics, to you, to Rush Limbaugh. He lashes out at Rush Limbaugh and tells Democrats don't listen to this guy. . . . [I]f this guy is so upset by criticism from people who are on the opposite side of the spectrum, what's going to happen as these polls as inevitably will happen start to fall on him as Americans realize that oh, he really is a liberal, it's not just a charming speech maker."
-- Ann Coulter, July 22
A thorough fellow, this young Myers. Friday night, he survived The Electric Kool-Aid Blog Intern Acid Test -- dinner with Miss Coulter -- and Sunday, he survived an even more important trial, dinner with Mrs. Other McCain.

What's weird is that this guy wasn't the intern I asked for. I was quite specific in my memo to VRWC-HQ that they should send me a Christina Hendricks lookalike. However, considering Myers is willing to work for nothing but the occasional Klondike Bar, I probably shouldn't complain.

As long as the tip-jar hitters fork over enough cash . . . this dude can really put away the Klondike Bars.

Is Hannity a heretic?

Being a Protestant myself, I've got no dog in this fight, but pro-life Catholics are fighting mad at Sean Hannity:
"I have no problem with birth control. It's a good thing," Mr. Hannity has said, prompting the Rev. Thomas Euteneuer, president of Human Life International, to send a mass e-mail last week calling the Fox News Channel and talk-radio host's repeated public defenses of contraception "just devastating for the faith of others who may be weak or vacillating in this area."
One thing that angered some Catholics was a TV "debate" in which Mr. Hannity lectured Fr. Euteneuer, saying that the priest was not "facing reality" about the need for contraception. Catholic author Amy Wellborn was shocked by Mr. Hannity "running all over" a priest who leads a major pro-life organization, and later criticized the popular Fox News host ...
Please go read the whole thing.

To understand why people like Jill Stanek and the American Spectator's Lisa Fabrizio are miffed, you've really got to watch the video:

Reaction to this is gathering steam -- as of early Thursday, discussed in 243 blog posts, according to Google, including Roman Catholic Blog, Wisconsin Catholic Musings, Bro Robin, Karsten Nordmo, Mark Shea, Travis Boudreaux, Return of Scipio ...

The controversy is unlikely to go away, if only for the reason that this involves Catholic pro-lifers, the people who turn out by the thousands to march in Washington in the freezing cold every January on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

Just remember that The Washington Times was the first newspaper to report this story.

UPDATE: Linked at Hot Air, where AllahPundit sez:
[I]t’s as pointless debating this issue as it is abortion or evolution, but the thought of Fox’s resident hammer going after a man in a white collar is irresistible.
