Her name is Kelsey Budd. She is a student at the College of William & Mary, where she runs track and cross-country. She is currently interning for the Claire Boothe Luce Policy Institute -- see her "Student Spotlight" here -- and today at the YAF National Conservative Student Conference, she told me her ambition is to be a senator. ReplyDeleteDoesn't the Constitution require Senators to be at least 30? If so, that might preclude a run for the Senate during the next race in Virginia. Not that I want to discourage the fine young lady, as there ain't nothing wrong with her goal, especially if Mark Warner or Jim Webb goes up in flames as a result.
