Father's Day in Hollywood

Or, actually, Vegas:
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were both in Las Vegas Friday night, but didn't hang out.
Federline nabbed a Father of the Year Award at club Prive, while Spears chilled with her dad Jamie and an assistant at the Cinevegas party at Palms Place.
Spears, 26, sipped just water while sitting in a poolside cabana, according to an Usmagazine.com eyewitness. She departed at 12:20 a.m. Saturday morning, after spending about an hour and a half there.
Meanwhile, across town, Federline was shocked at his Father of the Year award.
"I'm surprised," Federline said when asked how it felt to win the title.
Federline, 30, hit up the club with a group of male pals — including divorce attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan — just before 1 a.m. Saturday morning.
Celebrating with your divorce attorney -- you stay classy, Kev. Meanwhile in Mississippi, Britney's baby sister/baby mama Jamie Lynn is sweating:
Jamie Lynn Spears, who's feeling pretty uncomfortable now that she's nearing the end of her pregnancy.
"She's feeling so large and just feeling all the discomfort that comes with it," a source close to Jamie Lynn tells E! News.
The pregnant teen has also been hit with some mild cramps for the past two days, our insider says.
"Sounds like some false labor pains," says the friend. "But nothing serious enough to go to the hospital over. They called her doctor, but everything's fine."
At least the pregnant teen has plenty of support...
Daddy Casey Aldridge is doing his best to make her feel better, rubbing her back when the cramps kick up, says our source. And her mom is at her side, pitching in with last-minute nursery decorating.
Those "cramps" are called Braxton-Hicks contractions, a/k/a "false labour," and are routine -- basically, the uterus doing a sort of "workout" to get ready to squeeze out the baby. And, oh yeah, the mother of these two fine young specimens is putting the final touches on her own memoir. Should be very inspirational, I'm sure.

  1. Hey ... when you're married to Britney, coming across as the world's greatest father is NOT a tough chore.
