The obligatory John Ziegler video interview of Sarah Palin post

Via Conservative Grapevine to Big Hollywood:

UPDATE: Ed Morrissey:
If we’d seen more of this Palin on the campaign trail … well, we still would have lost, in all likelihood, as VP candidates simply can’t rescue running mates. However, Palin seems determined not to let 2008 be the last word for her on the national stage.
I've been saying since Labor Day that Team Maverick mishandled Palin's media. If they'd have done an impromptu press conference on the day she was announced -- before the reporters had time to research their "gotcha" questions -- it would have made all the difference in the world. Palin certainly represents herself better than Tucker Bounds ever represented her. Don't hide your light under a bushel.

  1. How sad.

The big bugaboo about Palin is that she can not get unanimous support within her own party. She might excite a small faction of wackos but she just can't seal the deal.
And this interview doesn't help. I mean, talk about no accountability! Nothing is ever this woman's fault. The idea that Kouric somehow unleashed some kind of black magic editing that made her sound bad is...well it's pathetic.
The only thing the McCain staff mishandled was not stopping Crazy Cousin John from selecting her in the first place.

    Like "what do you read?"

  3. Would have been better to have asked her "what books have you colored?" Her answer would have raised her to the status and stature of George W. Bush.
