Allah takes notice of a
New Republic article about the Obama campaign's media relations that quotes one reporter on the Obama beat:
"They're terrified of people poking around Obama's life. . . . The whole Obama narrative is built around this narrative that Obama and David Axelrod built, and, like all stories, it's not entirely true."
Hmmm. Operating on the where-there's-smoke principle, what common foible of Democratic politicians do you suspect Obama's campaign is trying to conceal? I don't know. Maybe we should ask
John Edwards. Or Gary Hart. Or Bill Clinton.
Of course, there could be no actual
proof of such a thing, because if there was, Team Clinton would have dug it up and dished it out during the primaries. But this defensiveness certainly arouses suspicion, doesn't it?
