No, it's just that when a situation offers so many opportunities for genuinely cruel punchlines -- what's the typographic equivalent of biting your tongue? -- Ace and his crew of Morons never disappoint.

Now that I think about it, I probably could have written that more clearly. I think Penner was pretending to be a transsexual to hide out from the job axe.
