Obama the Job-Saver

Are you getting sick of this yet?
President Barack Obama said on Monday accelerated stimulus spending would create or save 600,000 jobs over the next 100 days, pledging action to slow the growth of unemployment that has reached a 25-year high.
"We've got a long way to go, but I feel like we've made great progress," Obama said at a White House meeting with Vice President Joe Biden and cabinet officials aimed at highlighting gains made since Congress passed the massive stimulus package in February. . . .
(Via Memeorandum.) The White House press corps stenography pool doesn't seem to be asking any of the important questions about the Obamanomics agenda. Monique Stuart asks a good question.

  2. Let's see here. We were told back in January that the $800 billion stimulus needed to be passed into law----NO DELAY! We're in a crisis! There's no time! Hurry up! Hurry up!

5 months and some 3 million jobs lost later (remember Goofball Biden said the stimulus had already "saved" 150,000 jobs)....and.....a big fat nothing. Not to mention unemployment approaching 10%.

I get it now....THIS time---he REALLY MEANS IT!!

    What a great president!

    Ugh...

  3. I'm sure that Barry's "600,000 jobs created or saved" prediction will be just as accurate as his Porkulus prediction (unemployment decreasing within a month).

  4. He's talking about ACRON jobs. Specifically in the Obama Voter section. It's a cushy job where you really only have to show up once every 4 years. 2 years if you're real go-getter.
