Asked if he had spoken to the President, Wright said: "Them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he'll talk to me in five years when he's a lame duck, or in eight years when he's out of office. ...Biting my tongue here, trying to resist the temptation to say anything accurate about the Rev. Wright.
"They will not let him to talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is. ... I said from the beginning: He's a politician; I'm a pastor. He's got to do what politicians do."
UPDATE: Memeorandum has a thread, linking blog commentary from Greg Hengler, Gateway Pundit, YID With LID, Hot Air, Weekly Standard, NewsBusters, Weasel Zippers and Moe Lane. Nothing like a steaming plate of Rev. Wright to stir things up in the blogosphere.
Mr. McCan - You had better bite your tongue boy! Or else Capt McCain and his thought police will hit you so hard you'll be pis*ing blood for a week.
ReplyDeleteHes got a bird on his collar and 4 (four) stripes on his sleeve! What do you have boy?

If Jeremiah is talking about "spades" he should remember that for every finger you point there's 3 pointing back at you
ReplyDeleteJust remember, "spade" is only a racist term when it's convenient to treat it as such for a leftist meme. It logically follows that any talk of "dem nasty joos" is only anti-semetic when politically expedient for the left. Ergo, what Rev Wright says, no matter what he says, can not be racist or antisemetic.
ReplyDeleteNo, it takes some Right-wing Christian professing the simple faithful conviction of wishing to "perfect" (read: convert and save) them to imply hatred in opposite-world.
P.S. The new comment mechanism sucks... never works on the first try, and half the time causes the browser to crash.
ReplyDeleteIn light of the recent killing at the Holocaust Memorial, the racism of this man that Obama sat listening to for 20 years is far more worrisome
ReplyDeleteToday demonstrated that a seemingly normal person, with a high IQ who one may be fully capable of eating dinner with, can have terribly evil beliefs.
Obama is a person who clearly has an exremely high IQ, however his judgment cannot be trusted when a red flag does not come up over a period of two decades listening to this "Pastor." I pray for Obama, but his actions show that his future policies must fail unless he changes his worldview.
Obama IS NOT Carter, he is Widrow Wilson, same stupidity with frightening competence. Competent enaction of failed policies are worse than haphazard implementation of the same policies.
The audio wasn't clear: did Wright say 'pastor' or 'bastard'?
ReplyDelete"Obama is not Carter, he is Woodrow Wilson..."
ReplyDeleteYeah on the opening crawl of the next Dan Brown movie will be Obama's quote:
"...my only regret is that it is all so terribly true."
