Whatever happened to Ned Lamont?

"This is truly a great day for our blessed nation! I was deeply moved and inspired by President Obama's eloquent and stirring address. Now is the time to unite as a nation behind our new president's leadership and address the challenges facing our country at home and abroad."
-- Sen. Joe Lieberman

  1. Enough of this "let's unite" crap. I don't want to play "follow the empty suit leader." If Obama does something I think is right, I'll support him; if he does something I think is dumb, I'll oppose it. That is not only every American's right, it's his or her duty. And it's a damn sight more than the Left did for GWB. But follow this media-created-American-Idol president blindly anywhere he wants to go? They gotta be kidding. I read his speeches instead of listening to him talk; I got news for everybody, he's not that bright.

  2. I fear the old stimulus ideas that have been used for 60 years will not work.

It is bad whn the typical American family has lost its way in a financial sense. There is no longer a path that makes "cents"!

Conservatives must develop a "loyal opposition"plan that addresses the financial fears and hesitations of the American family and offers a new path for us to follow! ..It should include a proposed financial lifecycle or blueprint for the responsible folks.

If leading conservatives fail to work on that, what will they run on in 2010 and 2012?
