Good-bye, opposition

RE-BUMPED: Peggy Noonan was there and, as Rae said, Peggy must have been "as giddy as a schoolgirl."

Speaking of schoolgirl giddiness, today Obama met with liberal commentators including Andrew Sullivan.

BUMPED: Rush was NOT at this dinner.

PREVIOUSLY: George Freaking Will plays host to Obama, with Bill Kristol and David Brooks and perhaps even Rush Limbaugh (!) on the VIP invitation list.

Betrayed! The stab in the back! The neocon cabal!

UPDATE: Apparently, Michelle Malkin's invitation got lost in the mail.

UPDATE II: Charles Krauthammer sells out.

UPDATE III: They've won a medal!

  2. Well, if Limbaugh was there, we may have some interesting comments tomorrow, no?

  3. I doubt Obama would ever talk to Rush. He has a history of ignoring those he disagrees with (Just ask John Lott). If he met with Cheney, why? Robert, you live and work up that way, I am sure you know the dirt...

  4. Was there an actual conservative in that group?

  6. Rush had lunch with Bush. Not bad. I'd rather be called to lunch with Bush than dinner with OStalin, for fear I might not be civil with his messiahness. Anyway, I hope the Salmon was good. They brought out a birthday cake too.

  7. RSM, we (Cons 4 Palin) had a write up too, but you definitely are the master of this realm.

Interesting how 3 of the 4 are Palin bashers, and Krauthammer, whom I like on foreign policy is NOT a conservative like Politico reported.

I think you will enjoy JR's post and our comments thread on you!!!

Keep up the great work, buddy!
