Memo to Judith Warner

"[Sarah Palin] is the 21st-century face of the backlash against women’s progress. . . . The hatred of women . . . is still alive and well in our society, and when directed at well-educated women, it’s socially acceptable, too."
-- Judith Warner

If Sarah Palin is "the 21st-century face" of anything, at least it's a pretty face, eh?

People who like Sarah Palin don't hate women. But everybody hates whiny bitches like you.

Now, get me a cup of coffee, hon. Cream only.

  1. Read the comments under the post..

About all of them are taking her to task about the woman who dumped her kids off at the mall then went home for a nap.

  2. Leftism is the hothouse of little post-pubescent children.

If you wear the right hat, and say the right things, you can be in the club.

    Whiny little bitches.

  3. OK, I get it: she hates Sarah Palin.

That being said, how can anyone, with any sense of proportion and shame, make the argument that a woman that rose up out of nowhere, took on the establishment in AK and wound up as a successful governor is somehow support for the idea that women's rights have been eroded is mind-boggling--leftists truly are completely insane.

  4. No, dear, we don't resent educated women. We resent elitist, effete snobs of EITHER gender or party who think that if you went to college anywhere with the word "State University" in the name, or God Forbid "Community College", or hell, anywhere but Brown, Vassar, Hahvahd, etc. (Stanford, if you're from the West Coast, I suppose is OK), and if you're not from one of the anointed "Centers of civilization" (New York, Boston, the Bay Area, LA), then you're an unwashed ignorant mouth-breather who simply doesn't know anything about anything but Child rearin' and NASCAR, and aren't fit to carry water for the Anointed Ones.

The Peasants are revolting, and I don't mean the ADverb.

  5. So, if Sarah Palin had dropped off her young kids at the mall, and then went home to take a nap... this Warner lady would be ok with that? Come on. Definitely not. It'd be all over the news.

Warner is giving this woman the benefit of the doubt BECAUSE OF her big name education. Meaning that fancy education equals good sense. And that is hilarious. I have to say that the majority of peple I know with Big Name Degrees have the least amount of good sense remaining.

Big Name Degree says take 5 kids - 2 of whom aren't yours - to a mall and leave them while you take a nap.

Good sense says have the kids babysit in the safety of your home while you snooze upstairs.

I see no reason that Ms. Big Name Degree should be given a pass where welfare mom would have had her kids removed.

  6. “[Sarah Palin] is the 21st-century face of the backlash against women’s progress. . . . The hatred of women . . . is still alive and well in our society, and when directed at well-educated women, it’s socially acceptable, too.”

One would think that this statement was made in defense of Palin, out of context. As long as one was not suffering from PDS.
