This is not even deception, it is so blatently a lie. As (I think) Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn used to say, the Soviet Union was based on the premise that the people pretended to work, and the government pretended to pay them.

ReplyDeleteI hate to have to be the one to point this out to you, but elections have consequences, and one of those consequences is the passage of a comprehensive health care bill that your side has been fighting tooth & nail for going on 50 years now. (And yet you STILL act surprised.)
It's starting to occur to me that if the Democrats somehow managed to cure cancer, AIDS & the common cold, all in one fell swoop, you & Malkin and the rest would somehow find a reason to come out against it.
It's starting to get ridiculous. You lost the election, and now the other side holds the power, and instead of getting us into an endless, unspeakably expensive war that we didn't need to get into in the 1st place, they've done (close to) exactly what they promised to do during the campaign - what they were ELECTED to do - and instead of merely registering your disapproval, you've gotten it into your tiny, misinformed heads that the constitution is being subverted; that this is somehow un-American, what is happening in this country right now - that laws are being written and (thank God) passed thanks to the side that WON THE ELECTION(s).
You lost. Get over it.
