Sarah Palin to speak at CPAC

Just got off the phone with Lisa DePasquale, director of the Conservative Political Action Conference, who tells me that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is confirmed as a speaker at CPAC 2009, Feb. 26-28 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.

  1. Wish I could, but I go no where that does not recognize my concealed carry permits. Why doesn't CPAC move their event a couple miles to Virginia that has decent self defense laws?

  2. She needs to just go away...along with the rest of the current national Republican establishment. We need principled and intelligent candidates, not clowns like McCain or gimmicks in the form of Sarah Palin. I might have been able to overlook her ignorance of geography and foreign affairs, but not her promotion of amnesty for illegal aliens.

If the Republican party insists on continuing its mission to become a party of the left on everything except social issues important to evangelicals, it needs to be destroyed and a new party needs to take its place before its too late to reverse the damage being caused by our current immigration policies.

  3. Because we've outgrown every hotel in Virginia. In fact, next year will be the last CPAC at the Omni Shoreham because we've outgrown that hotel, too.

Pull yer head out. All yer getting is a crappy hairdo and ring around the collar.

Sarah Palin IS a principled, VERY intelligent, CONSERVATIVE candidate. In fact, SHE is the reason the ticket did as well as it did this year!

Her "ignorance" of geography and foreign affairs is a construct of those who KNOW they are screwed if she's not "scuttled" NOW. Namely the blue-blood, country club elitists of the NE & East coast and the demunists in the media and Congress.

If you'd be paying attention, you'd realize that Palin and Jindal and a few others (Michael Steele comes to mind) ARE the brake to the suicidal march to the left.

  5. Would love to go. Does anyone know if CPAC will be having a dinner in Richmond this year?

  6. Palin does NOT support amnesty for illegal aliens.

"Ramos: Do you then favor an amnesty for the 12 or 13 million undocumented immigrants?
Palin: No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty. You know, people have got to follow the rules. They've got to follow the bar, and we have got to make sure that there is equal opportunity and those who are here legally should be first in line for services being provided and those opportunities that this great country provides."

What don't you understand about "No, I do not. I do not."
