Palin draws entire Florida county?

The Villages is in Sumter County, Fla., population 69,000. Crowd estimate for Sarah Palin today? 60,000:
Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin told wildly cheering, flag-waving, chanting supporters that John McCain is "the only great man in this race" and promised Sunday he will fix the nation's economy if voters give the GOP four more years in the White House. . . .
"Sa-Rah! Sa-Rah!" they chanted at every mention of her name, applauding loudly and waiving tiny American flags that were distributed -- along with free water bottles -- by local volunteers. The fire chief estimated the crowd at 60,000.
Jonathan Martin says it was the biggest crowd for any GOP event all year. And Allahpundit notes:
Biden’s largest crowd among four stops in Florida earlier this month? 2,000.
I'll bet Charlie Gibson could get a crowd of 60,000, either. Palin and McCain will campaign Monday in the suburbs of Philadelphia. It's a 3-hour drive for me, but if I could drive seven hours to Ohio, I can drive three hours to Pennsylvania.

UPDATE: Via ABC, this video of Joe Biden singing The Villages advertising theme:

UPDATE II: By the way, I scratched plans to make the 3-hour drive to see McCain and Palin today. Got hung up on something else, my editor wasn't all that enthusiastic about the story, and I figure I'll get a chance to see them somewhere else soon enough. Jesse Taylor at Pandagon got sniffy about conservative enthusiasm for Palin. Hey, when our rock-star candidate draws a huge crowd, at least it's an American crowd, OK?

Charles Gibson could probably draw a healthy crowd, if it was billed as a pie-throwing contest.
    Maketing.
