Bailout plan or Nigerian scam?

Somebody's having too much fun:
DEAR AMERICAN:
I NEED TO ASK YOU TO SUPPORT AN URGENT SECRET BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP WITH A TRANSFER OF FUNDS OF GREAT MAGNITUDE.
I AM MINISTRY OF THE TREASURY OF THE REPUBLIC OF AMERICA. MY COUNTRY HAS HAD CRISIS THAT HAS CAUSED THE NEED FOR LARGE TRANSFER OF FUNDS OF 800 BILLION DOLLARS US. IF YOU WOULD ASSIST ME IN THIS TRANSFER, IT WOULD BE MOST PROFITABLE TO YOU. . .
Can you guess who's signature is on it?

  1. Well, except for the "Minister of the Treasury" and some other inappropriate designations this sounds just about like what Paulsen has proposed: a blank check given to him so he can help bail-out all of his Wall Street cronies.

And do so without anyone having legal recourse?

    We need this law immediately?

Could it be that Henry Paulsen is a Nigerian computer fraud expert? He'll certainly be able to find a job there after January if he needs one!
