This video of Sarah Palin as an Anchorage TV sportscaster has been out there a while, but I just now watched it at Red State, and just wanted to point out how much I love that early-Meg Ryan big-hair look from the mid-1980s: Also notice how unselfconscious she is about dropping her "g's." Obviously it's no affectation.
Most of all, this helps explain Sarah's appeal to the guy vote. It's not entirely about the hotness. What guy wouldn't love to be married to a former point guard? You could sit around watching basketball on TV and call it "quality time."
