Since John McCain announced Sarah Palin as his running mate Aug. 29, the two campaigned together through Sept. 10, when she flew back to Alaska.
Beginning Monday, the two will campaign separately.
McCain will appear at an 8 a.m. ET rally Monday at Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla., while Palin will appear at an 8:30 a.m. MT rally Monday at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Golden, Colo.
It will be interesting to see who gets the bigger crowd.

Do you know anything about how these crowd sizes are estimated?
ReplyDeleteIt seems a total political football, with the Loyal Opposition claiming 8k for the Fairfax rally, and the McCain-Palin campaign saying 23k.
I'm sure that the Loyal Opposition will claim that Palin's getting bigger crowds, right up until the point where McCain-Palin wonders, in the record, if the Loyal Opposition is sure who it is they're running against for president.
Senator Obama, our sympathies are with you over the stress of the campaign, but your opponent for the Presidency remains Senator McCain, not Governor Palin.
