Planned Parenthood: 'Hey, your daughter's a tramp, so make sure she's a safe tramp!'

Well, they don't put it quite so bluntly:

If you could give your teenage daughter a vaccination that would prevent her from contracting a sexually transmitted disease that could lead to cancer, would you do it? . . .
While many parents don't want to think about their young daughters becoming sexually active, most will eventually.

"Sexually active" = screwing around, putting out, humping, fornicating, doing everything in sight like Meghan McCain after her fourth margarita.

Do we really need mandatory, universal, taxpayer-funded vaccination for human papillomavirus to keep your daughter safe from cancer-causing HPV? Judie Brown of American Life League has her doubts:

Planned Parenthood also wants you to know that the vaccine has come under attack by -- you guessed it -- those damnable "conservatives who contend it encourages promiscuity."
But your friends at Planned Parenthood want to assure you of one thing: "Obviously, we're not giving the shot to a 16-year-old and telling them to go out and have sex. It’s not even about becoming sexually active now. You are really vaccinating them against their future.”
Isn't that special? No, not really. . . .
I have to ask, how many teenagers have died from chastity? How many have been institutionalized for drug abuse because they saved themselves until marriage? How many have had to go into therapy because their self-esteem was high and their desire for promiscuous activity low?
Planned Parenthood is not only barking up the wrong tree, it and its fellow sex advocates are destroying souls, debilitating perfectly healthy young people, killing preborn babies and making a literal killing. Take a look at their profit margin sometime!
The ideology of death is viral. We must strive to correct this course by infusing the antidote of moral principle into the public discourse at every opportunity.

Planned Parenthood exposed

Victor Morton of The Washington Times reports:

Planned Parenthood of Indiana has suspended a nurse after the release of an undercover videotape showing her coaching a supposed 13-year-old on how to duck Indiana's laws about parental-consent on abortion and the reporting of child sex-abuse.
The videotape shows Lila Rose, the president of a university pro-life group and a brunette, posing as a blonde 13-year-old girl named "Brianna" and telling the Planned Parenthood nurse at the clinic in Bloomington, Ind., that she is pregnant by a 31-year-old man.
"I am supposed to report [you] to Child Protective Services," says the nurse on the videotape, though assuring "Brianna" she will not do so if she can tell a plausible different story.
"I didn't hear the age. I don't want to know the age," the nurse says at a later point on the tape.
The nurse, who is referred to on the video as "Diana" but whose face is blurred out, knew neither that the session was being taped nor that "Brianna" really was Miss Rose, a 20-year-old pro-life activist at UCLA.

And an ironic note:

A city spokesman said Thursday that the Bloomington City Police is not investigating the clinic or the nurse for possibly violating the statutory-rape notification law, but is beefing up security around the facility to protect it from a possible backlash.

So the potential criminality at the clinic elicits no police interest, but watch out for those deranged pro-lifers!

Video: Planned Infanticide

Students For Life explains:

In the footage, the Planned Parenthood nurse describes to the pregnant woman that the abortion would entail delivering her son alive and, after the woman asks if the baby can be born alive, the nurse admits that "it does happen, but it wouldn't be able to survive on its own so eventually the baby does die."
This footage is shocking on multiple fronts and is relevant given the current presidential race. In August, an abortion survivor, Gianna Jessen, was featured in an ad asking why, as an Illinois State Senator, Barack Obama voted 4 times against a bill that would have protected babies born alive during an abortion called the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act. The bill was drafted after Chicago nurse Jill Stanek discovered that babies were being born alive during abortions and left to die.
The SFLA video includes an audio clip of Senator Obama speaking out against the bill in 2002 on the Illinois Senate floor attacking the bill as burdening "the original decision of the woman and the physician to induce labor and perform an abortion."
In the 3rd presidential debate on October 15, 2008, Obama said that he voted against the bill because it would have infringed upon Roe v. Wade and was medically unnecessary, claiming protections were already in place. However, the law he is referring to did not have the specific protections that would have provided medical care to babies born alive during abortions.
As evidenced in the SFLA video, the practice of allowing babies born alive during abortions to die, which is defined as infanticide, is still being practiced today. Senator Obama argues that to let these babies live is "to burden the original decision of the woman." . . .
Kristan Hawkins, SFLA's Executive Director remarked, "I was absolutely stunned when the Planned Parenthood nurse revealed that allowing a baby to die after being born alive is a common practice for abortionists. It begs the question of why a presidential candidate will not support human rights protections for babies born alive during an abortion procedure. This is outright infanticide, and a candidate for President defends it!"

I'm sure Doug Kmiec can explain why Catholics and other pro-lifers should vote for Obama anyway. Ed Morrisey has more at Hot Air.

The irony here is that Democrats insist on "comprehensive" (i.e, explicit) sex education in public schools, but they lie through their teeth about abortion and hide the facts behind a wall of propaganda and euphemisms.

Linking this article about Planned Parenthood's "rebranding" effort to move to suburban malls, Ed Morrisey says:

[Planned Parenthood] got over $15 million [in federal taxpayer funding] in 2007 while garnering more than a billion dollars in revenues from their operations. In return, its national PAC has already raised over $250,000 for the 2008 cycle and spent $200,000 of it, and 97% of it goes to Democrats. That makes their earmarks look a lot like strawman redistribution of tax money back to the Democratic Party.

Students For Life is promoting an online petition to end taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood.

Un-Mother's Day

Honor your pro-abortion mother, says Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards:

"You can help with a gift to Planned Parenthood Federation of America today in honor of your mother or daughter, and on behalf of all the women, children and families we help every day."

Michelle Malkin responds bluntly: "Ugh."

Most of Planned Parenthood's income comes from government funding via the Title X program, which has been increased to record levels by the "conservative" Bush administration.

Noting that Cecile Richards invokes her mother (ex-Texas Gov. Ann "Ma" Richards) and her daughter in her pro-abortion appeal, Jill Stanek says:

This pathetic woman is so psychologically and emotionally invested in abortion she as no semblance of a conscience left. If and when she has
grandchildren, I'm sure she'll use them, too.

That Richards doesn't realize the pretzel-logic of her appeal -- "Honor your mother by helping us prevent other women from becoming mothers" -- is evidence of a "conscience seared with a hot iron" (I Timothy 4:2).
