That's because a cross-dressing Ohio male escort whom ACORN registered multiple times to vote was convicted of full-fledged vote fraud in addition to the lesser crime of voter registration fraud. 1. Which, of course, is why assholes like Charles exist: To distract other people from doing important work.
2. Which, of course, is why he chose to attack me while I was covering the 9/12 March on D.C. The envy-ridden worm wouldn't have attacked me if I hadn't been doing good work.
3. Which, of course, was why it was so important that Charles be outed as a liberal, who had dishonestly pretended to be a conservative merely to attract traffic to his blog.
4. Which, of course, is why I don't actually regret the blog-war, except that it prevented me from doing the kind of fun stuff I would rather have been doing.
At any rate, a month after Charles began his vicious attacks, it's time for me to show some discipline and focus on my news-based blogging rhythm. I've still got at least two more installments of the Kentucky trip to write, and I hope to get back to Clay County before the end of the month, so I'll have to concentrate and allot my time more efficiently.
