Even as President-elect Barack Obama was giving a major address on his economic stimulus plan, it was running into trouble with key members of his own party on Capitol Hill.The story goes on to quote John Kerry, Kent Conrad and Ron Wyden as opposing the Obama plan. When I said, "It won't work," little did I suspect that those guys were paying attention.
Several Senate Democrats emerged from a closed-door meeting of the Senate Finance Committee saying they oppose central tax provisions of the proposal.

ReplyDeleteOf course it will work. Employers will start abusively firing and re-hiring workers to score the tax credit, irritating the workforce, and driving up union membership.
This idea is a vast improvement over the Free Employee Choice Act/Legislation (FECAL).
If Young4Eyes can't see the beauty in this, bump him up to six, or even take him up to the full eight of a spider, for ultimate 'fairness'.
