Her crime: 'Excuse me, sir . . .'

Radley Balko has video in which two witnesses (one of whom is the Cato Institute's Nicki Kurokawa) explain that [name witheld by request]'s crime at the Jefferson Memorial was to respond to the arresting officer with remarks that began, "Excuse me, sir . . ."



Radley says the charge was "interfering with an agency function," which is a bureaucratic euphemism for "unauthorized pursuit of happiness."
